Some thoughts on Convention

For some folks the word convention means brushing up on your Klingon and finding the best sci-fi get-up money can buy. For us homeschool moms, it means lots of encouraging workshops, curriculum and (hopefully) a couple days of rest without all the kids!

I'm planning on attending the Teach Them Diligently Convention later this month. Last year I went to the Great Homeschool Convention. It was my first homeschool convention ever and man was I overwhelmed! I went without a plan for the upcoming year. This year won't be the same!!

I've got a rough idea of what I'm looking for, along with a long list of things I want to flip through in person. I'm believing this year will go much smoother!! Yay convention!
