From far away it doesn't look too bad. However, when you get up close, you can see the section of the mirror my babies can reach.
Atrocious, huh?
I set out to find a DIY glass cleaner that would work on the grimiest grim in the house- the mirror in my bedroom.
I found one at Crunchy Betty. This gal has done her research, which means I don't have to!
Simple non-toxic ingredients..
In a clean spray bottle add 2 cups warm water
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup alcohol
1 Tablespoon of cornstarch
and shake like crazy.
It will look something like this. Yes, that is my husband hiding behind a sideways Harbor Freight ad.
Now to test
*If this were store bought chemical-filled cleaner I would NEVER have let them this close to it.*
Max sprayed and Caroline wiped.
After they played a bit, it was my turn.
What a difference!
I decided a while back to replace the chemicals in our home with DIY cleaners.
This was the first.
Why do I want to switch over?
Because of them.
Not convinced? I highly suggest you watch Chemerical. It's available on Netflix.
